Sort of a test post to try and start a new grouping of posts. Beau has been reticent to post on here unless it's a fully rendered, actual piece but that makes posting sporadic. Like he needs to be any more of that. So I think there needs to be a change.

With these two pieces I tried to express a certain theme in my life. Every time I've had a bad trip or unpleasant drug experience where I'll get incredibly sick or delirious or so depressed I can't stand it- I get up the next day. And I go on.
I do it alone, and I know that means I can do it again.

In those moments, you feel heavy like your presence has punched a hole in the universe. A robot-walking mass of muted sensation and ephemeral thoughts. You always feel so alone and wish someone could help but you, too, are there experiencing this with your body. So you help yourself!

Honestly I would have liked to explore a triptych, the bad trip-aftermath-cleanup because that better illustrates the point but this is only in retrospect. In the future I probably will with some other subject matter

Gabapentin and alcohol target the same receptors in the brain and amplify the effects of the other. Abusing gabapentin and alcohol together is extremely dangerous and vastly increases the risk of side effects and overdose.

A few notes on this drawing:

• Jericho was never a woman, although he did experiment with various pronouns/styles in his 20s.
  -the incident refers to his infection With xenoimmune disorder amidst the chaos of leviathans arriving in our dimension
  -the 'text' on the right is moreso a visual representation of how checked out he is. Someone is speaking to him but he isn't listening
